With Ice Saints Week behind us and the Lugano back from its winter break, the 2026 season is now well and truly underway! A season guided by good cheer, professionalism, and the crews’ passion for the river, promising a warm and welcoming experience of Paris, whatever the weather. This year, the Seine Avenue team is growing stronger and expanding further. A close-knit team, many of whose members have been working together for several years, often wearing multiple hats.
We needn’t introduce Philippe, the founder and director of Seine Avenue; Yoan and Arthur, the two co-operations directors and also captains; nor Xavier, the technical director and also a captain; Gauthier, the sales manager; or Martin, the company’s administrator… A visual retrospective on the company’s history will soon recount the adventure of these six partners. Seine Avenue is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year!
A strong and experienced team for the upcoming season
Alongside them, Captains Nils, Arthur B., Jules, Diego, and Laura steer Seine Avenue’s unique fleet and welcome passengers, while ensuring a pleasant and safe journey through the traffic on the Seine. Chief Stewards Balthazar (who is also a sales assistant) and Rosa (who is also an operations assistant), along with the deckhands, are responsible for welcoming guests on board: Charles (who is also a cruise manager), Anna, Paul, Virginie, Antoine, Léa, Romain, Nina… are all trained in service quality, navigation safety, and the history of Paris.
Working more behind the scenes, Eloïse handles customer relations. Together with Gauthier, they are the ones who plan our exceptional cruises on the Seine. They are supported by Célia, who also manages communications for Seine Avenue. Finally, Marion—a photographer—shares her photos and interviews throughout the year. Featured on this website, they highlight not only the company’s activities but also the river environment.
This wonderful team puts all its expertise to work to create magical moments on the Seine. Murano, Lugano, Farö, and Kaïros are all in service to ensure an unforgettable experience!
Winter maintenance return for all boats
The end of the off-season is always a busy time for the company. These vintage boats require a great deal of maintenance.
This winter, Murano got a makeover and now boasts a completely refinished deck. The underwater portion of its hull was repainted by our partners at Canot Classique. Similarly, Farö had its hull repainted last fall. Its white hull is thus still immaculate for the 2026 season. In addition, all of its wooden superstructures were refinished at the beginning of the year.
To ensure even greater comfort on board, all our boats are now equipped with woolen blankets handcrafted by Elsa Falières. At Seine Avenue, we are committed to providing a warm welcome in every situation. And to that end, we take pride in drawing on meticulous craftsmanship, in keeping with the spirit of our company.
Our boats are always on display at Quai de la Photo. Our marina is located within this exhibition space dedicated to photography.
Feel free to come check it out, admire the boats, and chat with our team members!
